The idea sparked while trying to watch region-locked content on a TV — a simple need that highlighted how much effort VPN setup can take. ShieldMe set out to change that.

ShieldMe is designed to work with popular providers and your custom servers. You bring the VPN service/server; ShieldMe manages the connection to it.
Connection state and history stay on the device where the client is installed. Your activity is not known to ShieldMe servers.
The legacy service is offline, so previous account access is no longer available.
